Andrea deals with the general running of the group in conjuction with the chairman. She is in charge of all administration and membership issues, financial matters, and most importantly, she pays the cheques! (With some abattoirs the farmers are paid direct, but with other outlets CQLP is responsible for payment). |
| . | Sue Rowe - Procurement Officer
Sue is responsible for negotiating prices with abattoirs, comparing abattoir dressing specifications and deductions. Sue liaises with the abattoirs, organizes the booked in stock, informs abattoirs of stock numbers and arranges transport if required. She informs members of the destination of their stock. She also looks after trial and new members. |

The staff work on a part time basis. The office is manned most days but if no-one is available there is a contact number for urgent queries. Bookings and other queries can be left on the answer phone. The staff report to a Board of 10 Directors who meet every 4 - 6 weeks to discuss the work of the group and to decide future strategy. All the Directors are livestock farmers. | |
